Ketia4Kidz FOUNDATION MISSION

Ketia4Kidz Foundation, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to motivate children of active duty military personnel deployed and severely injured to achieve their dreams and goals by promoting excellence in academics, arts, and sports related programs to all school age children on worldwide military installations.

The mission of K4K will be to concentrate its educational and outreach activities on military installations and in local military communities most directly affected by worldwide deployments.

KETIA'S OBJECTIVES

Ketia 4 Kidz will conduct educational and outreach activities through its primary creator, Ketia Swanier. Ketia is an 18 year military brat and professional basketball player for the WNBA Phoenix Mercury. She will provide time, knowledge, valuable experience and guidance through mentoring programs to meet the foundation's mission. These programs will include visits to Military Installations, Hospitals and Fisher Houses that house wounded soldiers of Iraq and Afghanistan and their families.

The Foundation will provide enrichment and outreach activities, to include mentoring that nurture and sustain the children during the time a parent[s] is away in service to our country. The Foundation will seek to foster opportunities for college scholarships, role modeling for leadership, sportsmanship and stronger interpersonal skills, as well as living healthier lives through enhancing and strengthening participation in military communities, schools and youth recreation programs.

Our Goals:

1. To reach and mentor as many military children as possible with its primary creator Ketia Swanier, through its youth initiatives, programs and projects.

2. To energize and direct resources toward as many military and veteran organizations through volunteerism to help support youth initiatives, programs and projects.

3. To foster and create opportunities for college scholarships to become Educators with the emphasis of giving back to military children.
